Studi Deskriptif Program Parenting Education Berbasis Online di PAUD Permata Bangsa Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021

Abstract


Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya program parenting education di masa bencana. Semenjak covid-19 mewabah menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan dalam bidang pendidikan, karena tidak semua sekolah siap untuk menerapkan metode pembelajaran secara daring.  Ketidaksiapan ini bukan hanya dirasakan oleh pihak sekolah saja, yang paling merasakan bebannya adalah orang tua, dikarenakan mereka akan menjadi guru di rumah.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyajikan informasi terkait 1) Konsep program parenting education, 2) Perencanaan program parenting education, 3)Proses Pelaksanaan program parenting education,4) evaluasi program parenting education di PAUD Permata Bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) konsep program parenting education sudah sejalan dengan teori yang mendukung, 2) perencanaan program parenting education sudah tersusun dengan baik, 3) pelaksanaan program parenting education sudah berjalan sesuai rencana walaupun terbatas karena covid-19, 4) pelaksanaan parenting education dapat memberikan manfaat bagi orang tua, sekolah maupun masyarakat. Namun masih terdapat kelemahan yaitu masih terbatasnya referensi narasumber untuk kegiatan parenting education.

Abstract. This research conducted due to the importance of parenting education in the plague era. The Covid-19 has affected the education field in various ways. Not every school has preparation for an online learning method. This unpreparedness was not only perceived by the school. But also the parents because they play teacher roles at home. It also aimed to provide the related information about 1) the concept of parenting education program, 2) the design of parenting education, 3) The design process of parenting education, 4) the evaluation program of parenting education in PAUD Permata Bangsa. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collected through observations and interviews. The finding of this study shows that: 1) The concept of parenting education program was aligned with the supporting theory, 2) The concept of parenting education program arranged in a proper way.3) the program implementation of parenting education was work as planned, even though it was unlimited because of covid-19, 4) The implementation of parenting education has benefited parents, school and society. However, the shortcoming of this parenting education program was the limited reference of the discussant.
