Intan Cendekia: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is committed to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and quality of scholarly publishing by adhering to the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, and reviewers—are expected to comply with the following ethical standards.

1. Authors' Responsibilities

Authors are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct throughout the research and community service process.

Authors must:

• Present community service outcomes honestly, objectively, and accurately, without fabrication, falsification, data manipulation, or any other form of scientific misconduct.
• Ensure that submitted manuscripts comply with the journal's Author Guidelines and prescribed manuscript format.
• Submit manuscripts that fall within the aims and scope of Intan Cendekia: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat.
• Disclose any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation or presentation of the work.
• Ensure that all listed authors have made substantial scholarly contributions to the conception, implementation, analysis, or preparation of the manuscript.
• Promptly notify the editor if significant errors or inaccuracies are identified after submission or publication, and cooperate in correcting, revising, or retracting the article when necessary.
• Refrain from submitting the same manuscript simultaneously to another journal or republishing previously published work without formal permission. Submission to another journal is permitted only after the manuscript has been officially rejected by Intan Cendekia: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat

2. Editors' Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for ensuring a fair, transparent, and objective editorial process.

Editors must:

• Make publication decisions based on the manuscript's scholarly quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, and reviewers' recommendations.
• Accept, request revisions to, or reject manuscripts based on the peer-review process and, when necessary, in consultation with the Editor-in-Chief.
• Evaluate all manuscripts fairly and without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs.
• Ensure that manuscripts considered for publication are original works and comply with accepted standards of publication ethics.
• Select reviewers with appropriate expertise relevant to the subject matter of the manuscript.
• Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and author information throughout the editorial process.
• Refrain from using unpublished information contained in submitted manuscripts for personal or professional advantage without the authors' explicit written consent.

3. Reviewers' Responsibilities

Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the scientific quality and credibility of the journal through objective and constructive peer review.

Reviewers must:

• Treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and must not disclose or use any unpublished information for personal benefit.
• Evaluate manuscripts objectively, independently, fairly, and professionally, based solely on their scholarly merit.
• Provide constructive comments and recommendations that assist authors in improving the quality and clarity of their manuscripts.
• Identify relevant published works that have not been appropriately cited whenever applicable.
• Inform the editor of any suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, or other forms of publication misconduct.
• Decline to review manuscripts when any conflict of interest exists that could compromise the impartiality of the review.
• Complete the review process within the agreed timeframe to facilitate an efficient and timely publication process.
