Every manuscript submitted to JPIn: Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia undergoes a Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which the identities of both the authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective, independent, and unbiased evaluation.

Before entering the peer-review stage, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its relevance to the journal's focus and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, administrative completeness, and similarity level.

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area. Reviewers are normally given two weeks to complete their evaluations.

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor may make one of the following decisions:

• Accepted;
• Minor Revision;
• Major Revision; or
• Rejected.

If the reviewers provide substantially different recommendations, the editor may appoint an additional reviewer to assist in reaching the final editorial decision.

The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief, taking into consideration the reviewers' recommendations and the editorial board's evaluation.

Requirements Before Submission

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

1. The manuscript is original and free from plagiarism.
2. The Similarity Index does not exceed 20%. Plagiarism screening is conducted using Turnitin®.
3. The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
4. The manuscript has been prepared using the official JPIn manuscript template.

Purpose of Peer Review

The peer-review process is designed to evaluate the scientific quality, validity, originality, relevance, methodology, and contribution of a manuscript to the field of education. Beyond serving as a quality control mechanism, peer review also helps authors improve their manuscripts through constructive and evidence-based feedback.

Reviewers are expected to provide objective, detailed, and professional comments, particularly regarding the research methodology, presentation of data, analysis, and whether the conclusions are adequately supported by the research findings.
