Every article submitted to ALFAMath: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika will be reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers with expertise relevant to the topic of the submitted article.

Reviewers are unaware of the authors’ identities, and authors are also unaware of the reviewers’ identities (double-blind peer review method).

Reviewers are given two weeks to review the assigned article.

The editorial team will decide whether to accept or reject an article based on the review results provided by the reviewers. If the reviewers provide significantly different recommendations, the editor will assign 1 (one) additional reviewer to provide further consideration in making the final decision regarding the article.

The languages used in this journal are Indonesian and English.

Requirements Before Article Submission

Authors are expected to consider the following points before submitting an article to ALFAMath: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika:

1. The submitted article must be free from plagiarism. ALFAMath requires a maximum similarity score of 20%. Articles with a similarity score exceeding 20% will be automatically rejected. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by the Editorial Board using the Turnitin® Plagiarism Checker.
2. The submitted article must not have been previously published and must not be under consideration for publication in another journal.
3. The submitted article must be prepared according to the official ALFAMath manuscript template.

Peer Review Policy

Peer review is designed to assess the contribution, validity, relevance, quality, and originality of articles before publication.

Its primary purpose is to maintain the integrity of scientific knowledge by filtering out invalid articles or manuscripts that do not meet academic quality standards.

From a publisher’s perspective, peer review functions as a quality control mechanism that filters submitted content, directs higher-quality articles to reputable journals, and contributes to the development of journal reputation.

The peer-review process adds value to published articles. Therefore, publishers must ensure that the review process is rigorous, objective, and reliable.
